The BAU Fair in Munich is a worldwide event where the latest technology solutions are presented to define trends in building industry and architecture. This year’s slogan was The Future of Construction Industry. POLFLAM^® products perfectly fit into this profile.

– European manufacturers have long booked that week in their agendas to make sure they make it for the BAU Fair, in particular those who have had firm export plans. This was also our objective. Namely, we were there to reach the largest possible group of foreign customers – says Dawid Kapsa, POLFLAM’s General Director. – And we succeeded in doing so. We have been impressed to see the number of enquiries reaching our mailboxes following the fair, while the number of tests scheduled for our glass fixed in the new customers’ systems has been far beyond our expectation.

More than 250 thousand visitors registered to this year’s exhibition, most from without the European market. – The international importance of the BAU Fair could be clearly seen at our stand – noted Dawid Kapsa. – We hosted specialists from all over the world, including joinery producers, architects and designers.

The fair’s exhibition was arranged so as the product could speak for itself. Our stand’s external partitions were made of the following exhibits: large-size fire-resistant glass, curved fire-resistant glass and glazed curtain wall in the frameless system. One could see at first glance the perfect transparency and the minimum thickness of POLFLAM^® glass.

It is rare to find a life-size curved glass exhibit at fairs, hence, the great interest it was welcomed with. Many enquiries concerned internal glazed partitions in frameless systems. Visitors were able to see samples of POLFLAM^® glass in all fire-resistance classes: from EI 30 to EI 180, in our demo set.

Our staff were eager to answer all the questions regarding possible application of POLFLAM^® glass: for inside glazed walls, facades, windows, glass floors, stairs and skylights; its detailed parameters, our proprietary production technology and certificates.

Through our mobile application made specifically for use at the fair, visitors were encouraged to send onto their email addresses a set of materials containing technical information.
