Today’s construction glass has almost unlimited possibilities, including safety of people and assets. It can be both barrier to fire and resistant to impact load, that is, protect against burglary. More and more frequently, we find it combine a number of functions. Fire-resistant glass is an extremely specialised product which requires both technological knowledge and high investment in research and in the certification proces. In October, the symmetric POLFLAM® glass of the EI 30 class, the dimensions 5900 x 3100 mm and the weight 1450 kg was tested in the renowned ift institute in Rosenheim.
