In modern architecture, designers eagerly reach for solutions that provide optical lightness, such as glass walls. Fire resistance is often required. POLFLAM BR glass is developed for creating fire-resistant glazing of large surface, without vertical profiles connecting individual wall modules.
Read more…Glass elevations are a determinant of contemporary architectural designs. Façade glazing is, however, quite a challenge, because in addition to all the aesthetic advantages, they must be characterized by parameters that allow obtaining the most advantageous energy balance of the building. Architects’ expectations regarding the properties of facade glass are still growing.

Fire-resistant glazings are more and more often replacing ordinary, heavy walls which comply with the required fire resistance and allow providing the interiors with the desired lightness and transparency. POLFLAM® glass gives more options. Its large-size glass panels are just the beginning, as they can be a perfect background for manipulating the image, light and colour.
Read more…Modern technology sets architects free to apply their visions of buildings filled with light. Glazed elements to bear load in an incident of fire have long been a challenge. Therefore, POLFLAM® F fire resistan glass has been designed for such demanding applications.
Read more…The technology line at POLFLAM production plant shall be expanded by a new tool, i.e., a glass processing centre. Thanks to its efficiency, the multi-function device used for drilling, edging and polishing of glass edges, shall adjust to our intense production pace. The machine allows for large glass panels, up to 3500 x 2200 mm, of various shapes to be processed.
In just two months, we will present our products in Germany on the Expo FeuerTRUTZ 2018. The event combines the exhibition and the congress and it is devoted to technological solutions for fire protection in construction industry. We invite you to our stand!
We shall present fire-resistant glass mounted using the frameless system, and POLFLAM F glass, both to be applied in ceilings and stairs, and having load-bearing capacity as high as 5 kN/m2. We have also prepared a demo set with glass units of all the EI classes: from EI 30 up to EI 180.
See you in Nuremberg!
